Candice is the single most informed and skilled nutritional expert I have ever encountered in my long quest for health and weight loss. At last, with Candice I have discovered real answers to my digestive, weight, and immune system problems and am well on my way back to health. Candice's psychologic strategies ("one little step") and emotional support are not insignificant either, and together these two skill sets are a total winning formula! I started working with Candice in the late fall of 2006. At that time I was burned out from over exercising and was starting to gain weight. Being a triathlete, I had tried to do too much, had eaten poorly and was paying the price. Later the following winter, I was diagnosed with Mono. I talked with Candice on the phone weekly and got solid advice on how to eat and take care of myself. It was a difficult transition, but then what I could only think of as a miracle occurred! I started feeling great and loosing weight – and I didn’t have to struggle any more to get there. My body had reached a point where it was just simply ready to release the fat.
What Candice offered me was not just information on “how to do it”. She also gave me lots of support and encouragement when I was less than convinced I would ever feel better again. There were times when I thought I was doomed to feel poorly the rest of my life. Candice helped me persist and the miracle did happen. I am deeply grateful for the support, understanding and just plain good advice I got from Candice. A year later, I am continuing to work with Candice and look forward to triathlons in the future with a stronger, healthier body than ever.
